Eddie Robert Everhart, 72, of Young Mill Road, died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Lexington Health Care, following an extended illness.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
Mr. Everhart was born February 25, 1942, in Rowan County, to Pless Edgar Everhart and Beulah Mae Phillips Everhart. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Wellington Hall where he had served as an inspector. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Edgar Everhart,Reuben Everhart and Roy Everhart.
Surviving are his loving wife Judy Ann Epley Everhart of the home; sons, Eddie Craig Everhart and wife Lucy of Lexington and Rick Lane Everhart and wife Debbie of Clemmons; daughters, Lisa Ann Britt and husband Stuart of Churchland and Cathy Lynn Conley and husband Roy of Southmont; five grandchildren, Nathan Conley, Lee Everhart, Stuart Britt Jr., Logan Britt and Christopher Britt; three great-grandchildren; brothers, J.V. Everhart of Welcome and Jerry Franklin Everhart of Lexington; and sisters, Hilda Sue Cross and husband Billy of Southmont and Judy Carolyn Bowles and husband Glenn of Youngstown, Ohio.
