Eddie Fritts

Thomas Eddie Fritts 75 of Helmstetler Road, Lexington passed away Thursday June 21, 2018 at his home.   A funeral service will be  3:00 pm Saturday June 23, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel  conducted by  Revs. Doug McGee and Daniel Fortman with burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Friday and at other times at the home.   Mr. Fritts was born April 30, 1943 in Davidson County to Harvey Garner Fritts and Daisy Lee Wrenn Fritts. He was retired from Dixie Furniture. He attended Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church. His parents, two children, James Long and Vera Owens all  preceded him in death.   Surviving are his spouse, Ruby Lee Long Fritts of the home. His family, Robert Long (Kathy) of China Grove, Michael D. Long of Lexington and Teresa Smith (Terry) of Salisbury. There are also Eleven Grandchildren and Twenty Four Great Grandchildren. A Sister, Janice Garrison (Ernest) of Lexington. His Nieces, Shirley James (Melvin) of Lexington, Dawn Swing of Thomasville and Nancy Ellenburg (Brian) of Lexington. His Nephew, Charles Garrison of Lexington. Also surviving are a son in law, Carl Owens of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House 200 Hospice Lane, Lexington, NC 27292.   The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Hinkle Hospice for all the love and concern shown to Eddie and his family.
