Eddie Kimberly Wayne Mize, 55, of Sink Inn Road, died Monday, May 14, 2012, at his home.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Howell 3rd officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the home of Terri Kimble on Baxter Road.
Mr. Mize was born June 6, 1956, in Davidson County, to Eddie Wade Mize and Clara Ruth Story Mize. He was employed at Leggett and Platt in the maintenance department. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lexington and Moose Lodge #317. His father preceded him in death.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his loving wife, Sherri Honeycutt Mize of the home; son, Clifton Mize of Lexington; daughter, Kalee Mize of Lexington; four grandchildren, Alex Mize, Daniel Cowans Jr., Logan Lowder and Lucas Lowder, all of Lexington; brother, Danny Mize of Lexington; sister, Belinda Caudle and husband, Tony, of Lexington; nieces and nephew, Amanda Forbis, Blake Caudle, and Lauren Griffin; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Jimmy and Pat Honeycutt and John and Thena Goss; sister-in-law, Terri Kimble and husband, Douglas; and friends, Gary Grant, Dale Johnson and Gary Worley.
