Eddie Lee Maley

Eddie Lee Maley, 87 of Brian Center Nursing Home, formerly of Cotton Grove Rd., Lexington, died Sunday February 6, 2011 in the Brian Center Nursing Home. A burial will be held at National Cemetery in Salisbury. Mr. Maley was born in Davidson County on April 28, 1923 to John Lloyd Maley and Lottie Myrtle Billings Maley. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post 3074. He retired from Dacotah Cotton Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Roby Maley and sister, Myrtle Hood. Surviving are niece, Carolyn Bibeau and husband Ken of Concord and great nephew, Richard Bibeau.
