Eddie Myers

Edward “Eddie” McClain Myers, age 69, of Lexington passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Hinkle Hospice House.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Dr. Lee Zehmer officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.   Mr. Myers was born on August 17, 1948 in Davidson County to Hollis McClain Myers and Marie Mize Myers. He was retired from Thomasville Furniture, having worked in the returns department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Regan Myers; and a brother, Hollis Donald Myers.   Surviving are his sister, Phyllis Myers Hedrick (Eugene) of Lexington; three sister-in-law’s, Judy Myers, Vickie Clark (Eric), and Jackie Smith (Branson); nephews, Donnie Myers, Eric Myers (Pam), Steven Clark (Lindsey), Joel Clark (Katie); nieces, Lisa Lucas, Angie Miller (Jason), Caroline Clark, Emily Earle (Alex), Laura Hildebrand (Joe), and Sarah McCurry (Ben); and great nieces and nephews, Cameron Miller, Dillon Lucas, Tripp Myers, Abbey Ellis, Alex Myers, and Hannah Myers.   Memorials may be directed to Davidson County Cancer Services at 25 W. 6th Ave. Lexington, NC 27292 or to the Humane Society of Davidson County at P.O.
