Eddie Myers, Sr.

John Edward “Eddie” Myers Sr., 79, of Rowe Road, died suddenly, Monday, December 08, 2014, at his home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Reeds Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Henry Watterson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Myers was born June 5, 1935, in Guilford County, to John Craver Myers and Velda Hill Myers. He was retired from Stroh Brewery. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma “Pat” Patterson Leonard Myers, who died April 15, 2013. Surviving are son, Edward Myers Jr. and wife, Misti, of Lexington; daughter, Mary Len Myers Cutter and husband, Jack, of Charlotte; and grandchildren, Falon Myers, Riley Myers, Jackson Cutter, and Corinne Cutter.
