Eddie Sheets

Edgar Lee “Eddie” Sheets, 65, died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness.

A celebration of life will be held from 12-2pm Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Goose and Monkey Brew House, 401 S. Railroad St, Lexington.

Mr. Sheets was born October 3, 1954 in Davidson County to Thomas Gray Sheets and Edna Stutts Sheets.  He was a 1972 graduate of Lexington Senior High School and a graduate of High Point University. Eddie was a Certified Public Accountant.  He operated his own firm for many years and practiced for 44 years. He was also a member of First Baptist Church.  His parents, and his sister, Patricia “Patti” Delsky, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Reynolds Sheets of the home; his sons, Matthew Sheets and wife, Jenna, of Salisbury, and Stephen Sheets of Lexington; his daughter, Paulina Sheets and fiancé, Zak Crotts , of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Ethan Thomas Sheets and Logan Roger Sheets, and their mother, Wendy Koontz, and Sutton Jane Sheets and Emmett William Sheets.
