Edgar Jackson Flinchum IV

Edgar “Ed” Jackson Flinchum, IV, 50, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his home in Lexington.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Mt. Airy. His family will visit with friends following the service.

Ed was born December 29, 1974, in Surry County to the late Edgar Jackson Flinchum III and Evelyn Kaye Flinchum. He retired from Deloitte. Pa Ed – lover of disc golf, baseball, music, movies, and moments with loved ones.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, HawShen Tan Flinchum, his mother, Kaye; his sons, Nolan Tan and Nathan Lewis; daughter, Natalie Jo Fronzaglia (Eric); brother, Chip Nathaniel Flinchum (Angela); sisters, Misty Flinchum Utt and Christy Flinchum Goins (Daniel).

Ed was a selfless soul, a giving father, a loving husband, and a quick-witted, wise man that will be missed by all who knew him.
