Edith Edna Mann Hamilton

Edith Edna Mann Hamilton, 91, of Owens Road, died Thursday, January 7, at Hinkle Hospice House following an extended illness. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2016, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Brian Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Hamilton was born in Orange County to Amec and Lillian Mann, but resided in Davidson County most of her life. Preceding her in death were her husband, Harvey C. Hamilton; son, Larry R. Hamilton; grandson, Dustin Hamilton; sisters, Anne Bovelle, Mary Hunsucker, and Elsie Alexander Cope. Surviving are her son, Coy L. Hamilton and wife Pam; daughters, Lillian Chambers and husband Bill and Robbin Tester and husband Jake; sister, Nancy Everhart of Lexington; and brother-in-law, Joe Hamilton of Mt. Gilead; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
