Edith Hartman Ketner, 90, of Clemmons passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living.
Mrs. Ketner will lie in state from 2-4 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
A funeral service is planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Grace Baptist Church, with Pastor Josh Harvey officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Arcadia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Edith was born on July 17, 1930 in Davidson County to Lonnie Oliver Hartman and Dora Eloise Hartman.
She attended Grace Baptist Church when her health allowed and enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. She adored her grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ketner was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Monroe Ketner, her brother, James Hartman; and sister, Eloise James.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Denny Ketner (Rose) of Clemmons; her daughter, Kathy Ketner Salyer (Cary) of Roanoke, Virginia; grandchildren, Cory (Brittany); Darin (fiancé, Lauren); Amy Barrett (Zach) and Jodi Salyer (Jamie); great grandchild, Everett Ketner; and her brother, C. A. Hartman of Lexington.
Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the Ketner Family.
