Edith Parker Mcbride

Edith Parker McBride, age 71 of Gate Circle, Lexington passed away Friday night at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday and at other times at the home of son, 290 Swearing Creek Drive, Lexington. Edith was born in Wilkes County, April 27, 1939 to Ella Elizabeth Parker McCorkle. She was a retired employee of Lexington Home Brands. She was preceded in death by her husband James Williard McBride in 1987 and her mother in 2001. Surviving are; one daughter, Jamie Miller and husband Jeffrey of Lexington; one son Phillip McBride and wife Connie of Lexington; one grandson, Spencer Ryan McBride.
