Edna Ruth Nail Cashatt

Edna Ruth Nail Cashatt, 90, of Old Salisbury Road, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Thomasville Medical Center.   A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home with Pastor J.C. Miles officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018   Mrs. Cashatt was born August 20, 1927, in Davidson County, to Wade Harold Nail and Lena Agnes Shutt Nail. She was retired from Stanley Furniture and was of the holiness faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Glenn Cashatt who died May 15, 2016.   Surviving are her sons, Tommy Odell Cashatt of Linwood and Timothy Eugene Cashatt and wife Ann of Lexington; daughters, Martha Jenkins of Denton, Dianne Akers and Nancy Morris and husband Mickey, both of Lexington; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, and one sister; Margaret Morris of Denton.   Memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
