Edna Younts Decker

Edna Younts Decker, 62, of Early James Road, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at her home after 12 years of declining health. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Reeds United Methodist Church by the Rev. Gary Foster and the Rev. Doug McGee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Decker was born May 15, 1945, in Davidson County to Raymond Webster Younts and Zana Frances Leonard Younts. A retired owner/operator of the Pink Poodle Parlor, she was a member of Reeds United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Randy Dean Bailey and his former wife, Barbara, of Walkertown and Thomas Scott Everhart and his wife, Lori, of Lexington; foster daughters Bobbie Henson and Carol Hayes of Lexington; grandchildren Jackie Dean Bailey, Sherina Smith, Courtney Everhart, Sierra Everhart, Hailey Everhart and Ethan Thomas Everhart, all of Lexington; a sister, Frances Younts Jones of Lexington; and longtime dear friends Ronald Mabe, Julie Kay Mize, Debbie Honaker and Paula Leonard. The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel and other times at the home.
