Edna Wood Everhart

Edna Wood Everhart, 79, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Pine Acres Center in Lexington.

Edna was born September 22, 1946, in Patrick County, Virginia, to James David Wood and June Alice Talbert Wood, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Sonlight Baptist Church.

Edna will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the many special memories she created throughout her life.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert Curtis Everhart; sisters, Mildred Willard, Effie Hutchins, and Carol Whitaker; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Edna’s life will be held at a later date.
