Edna Jenkins Kepley

Edna Louise Jenkins Kepley 93 of Greensboro Street, Lexington died Monday morning at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at First United Methodist Church  and burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   She was born November 11, 1915 in Guilford County to Walter Clay Jenkins and Mittie Leonard Jenkins.  She was the Co-owner of Kepley Moving and Storage for 75 years and had previously been named Mover of the year by The NC Moving Association. Her parents and her husband, Clyde A. Kepley preceded her in death. Her brothers, John, Roby and Tom Jenkins also preceded her in death. She was a lifelong  active member of First United Methodist Church.   Surviving are one son, Kep Kepley and his wife, Nancy of Linwood and a daughter, Rachel Porter and her husband Darryl of Granite Quarry. Five Grandchildren, Clyde A. Kepley III and wife Stephanie, Heather Porter Penley and husband Todd, Mitchell Lee Kepley, Derrick Hampton Porter and wife Danielle and Melissa Porter Utley and husband Robert. Nine Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild.   The Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at their respective homes.
