Edna Pinyan Kyles

Edna Pinyan Kyles, 93, a resident of Lexington, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center. She was born on October 11, 1929 to the late William Franklin and Burtha Eller Pinyan. She retired from Dixie Furniture Industries after many years of service. Edna loved feeding and watching her birds, especially the Hummingbirds. She also enjoyed planting flowers. Edna was a member of Memorial Evangelical Reformed Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bill” Kyles; a son, James “Darrell” Kyles; three brothers, and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 3:00PM in Memorial Evangelical Reformed Church. Visitation will be prior to the service at 2:00PM. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the church, 3806 E Old US Highway 64, Lexington, NC 27292.

Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughters, Kimberly Kyles Hedrick of Lexington and Stacy Kyles McDowell (Chad) of Thomasville; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Sullivan Kyles of Lexington; a Grandson Dennis Hedrick; great-grandchildren, Laurin Hedrick Francey (William), Brittany Leonard Bartlett, Dennis James “DJ” Hedrick, and Madelyn “Maddie” McDowell ; great-great-grandchildren, Benjimin Bartlett, Nicholas Francey, Sawyer Meadows, Salem Leonard, and one on the way.
