Edna Sink Presley

Edna Sink Presley age 91 of Old US Hwy 52, Midway passed away Friday January 5, 2018 at her home.   A funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday January 7, 2018 at Midway United Methodist Church where she was a member conducted by Pastor Chuck Ireson and Rev. Lynn Jordan and burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30  in the Christian Fellowship Center prior to service and at other times at the home on old Hwy 52, Midway   Mrs. Presley was born February 16, 1926 in Davidson County to Thomas Herman Sink and Clara Beard Sink. Her parents, husband, Ray Presley and several brothers and sisters all preceded her in death. She was salutatorian of the 1943 Midway Class, charter member of the Midway Volunteer Fire Dept. and auxiliary, member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She is best known for her selling produce under the maple tree at her home.   Surviving are her children, Kimmey Presley of Midway; Charles R. Presley (Kitty) of Walburg and Janice Presley Edwards (Danny) of Midway, also surviving are five grandchildren; Paula Hill, Carla Brinkley, Monica Overbaugh, Brent Edwards and Beth Velasco and nine great-grandchildren and her sister, Frances Beeker of Reeds and her special niece, Marlene Hanes   Memorial may be made to: Gideons of Welcome, P.O.
