Edward Duane “Butch” Fowler, 62, of Shadow Lane, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at his home.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Truell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m.
Mr. Fowler was born February 22, 1952, in York County, SC to Edward Franklin Fowler and Eva Cook Fowler. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and was owner/operator of Yadkin River Stone Works. Mr. Fowler was a member of Amvets Post 13. He was a wonderful person, having touched many with his loving and caring attitude. Butch touched so many lives we can not mention each by name but his passing has affected many.
Surviving are his brother, Mike Fowler of Vail, Co.; fiancée, Judy Potts; Judy’s sons, John Owens and Michael Morrow; Judy’s grandchildren, Toni Logan Owens and Collin Morrow; stepson, Jamey Langford; stepdaughter, Cathy Langford; step-grandchildren, Aaron Langford and Taylor Langford.
