Edward (Eddie) Kent Hedrick

Edward (Eddie) Kent Hedrick, 72, of Lexington, passed away February 24, 2022, at his home in Lexington.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Joel Smith officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Hedrick was born September 22, 1949, in Davidson County, to Lawrence Edward Hedrick and Violette Mae Beck Hedrick. Eddie worked with Coble Diary for 25 years, PPG for 13 years and having worked with Diebold. He loved fishing and the outdoors, having never missed his grandchildren’s ballgames, never meet a stranger and love to pick. His passion was his faith, family and especially his grandchildren. Eddie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and brother, who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Emilie Pierce.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 39 years, Alice Kilby Hedrick of the home, his sons, Bobby Joseph Hedrick and wife Mandy, Edward Blake Hedrick and wife Amy, daughter, Michelle Hedrick Kepley and husband Dean all of Lexington; also surviving are his grandchildren, Michael Kepley, Brandon Kepley, Justin Kepley, Meredith Hedrick, Landon Hedrick, Boston Spivey, Baydin Hedrick, and Averleigh Hedrick, and his brother, Joe Hedrick, and wife Bonnie of Lexington.
