Edward Thurston Gray

November 2, 1940 — May 18, 2021

Edward Thurston Gray, age 80 of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Bixby Presbyterian Church in Advance.

Edward was born on November 2, 1940 in Gaston County, NC to Harold Gray and Mary Pauline Council Gray. He served in the National Guard for four years, retired from Southern Film as a machine operator and was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Robert Gray of Lexington; daughter Lisa Cornatzer (Neal) of Advance; sister, Patricia Smith (Doug) of Welcome and one grandchild, Salem.
