Edward Butch Moree

Edward “Butch” Moree, age 79 of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at W F Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Edward was born on November 03, 1942, in Richmond County to Harold Edward Moree and Rachael Brown Moree. He retired from Leggett & Platt Inc. and was a member of North Lexington Baptist Church. His family meant everything to him and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife; Janice Lopp Moree, brother Gerald Moree.

Left to Cherish his memory are son, Stephen Moree (Traci), daughters Donna Moree, Rene Pressley (Danny), Rhonda Moree all of Lexington; sisters Margie Johnson, Doris Hutchins, eight grandchildren; Kyle Pressley (Heather), Kayla  Pressley, Shana Shelly, Michael Quintana, Olivia Quintana, Bianca Brooks, Mandi Deitz, Amber Deilz, eight great grandchildren; Aaron, Austin, Riley, Keean, Kaiden, Bryson, Leland, Analise.
