Edward Nailor Sr.

Edward Bayard Nailor Sr, age 75, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center.   A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Carson Marshburn officiating.   The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm prior to the service.   Mr. Nailor was born on September 2, 1942 in New Jersey to Elmer Bayard Nailor and Erma Parker Nailor. He was a retired electrical engineer, having worked for a number of companies but most recently Duracell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis McCart.   Surviving are his loving wife, Ethel Pike Nailor of the home; two sons, Edward Bayard Nailor Jr. (Laura) of Monroe and Michael E. Nailor (Alisha) of Linwood; three daughters, Patricia Duignam (Ned) of FL, Helen Taylor of FL, and Mary Skyta (Damon) of IL; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.   Memorials may be directed to Cancer Services of Davidson County at 25 W 6th Ave. Lexington, NC 27292.
