Edward Norton

Edward Z. Norton, 55, of Winston-Salem, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at his home. His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Becks Lutheran Church by Pastors Ray and Ruth Ann Sipe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. at the church. Mr. Norton was born May 14, 1954, in Shelby to the Rev. Zane G. and Elizabeth Norton of Harrisburg. He was a church musician and serving as organist of Becks Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Janelle Norton. Surviving are his parents; a brother, Laron C. Norton and wife Trish of Monroe; and a sister, Elisa Ault of Cherryville. Memorials may be directed to Becks Lutheran Church, 441 Becks Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
