Edward Lynn Owens

Edward Lynn Owens, 70, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Alston Brook.

Mr. Owens will lie in state at Davidson Funeral Home on Friday, November 6 ^th from 10:00am until 12:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those planning to attend should practice social distancing and wear a face cover.

Mr. Owens was born on July 27, 1950 in Davidson County to Nume Owens and Alta Marie Beck Owens.  He retired from Harris Teeter and was of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Nume Kent Owens and his sister, Bonnie Marie Owens Dunbar.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher Owens (Crystal Smith); special niece, Michelle Everhart (Larry); sister, Donna Sue Owens Cribb (Joe) and several nieces and nephews.

Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is serving the Owens family.
