Edward Thomas "Pete" Shaw

Edward Thomas “Pete” Shaw, 78, of Hannah Ferry Road, Linwood, NC, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, NC. The family will greet friends 2:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home,Lexington  Mr. Shaw was born November 2, 1938, in Campbell County, VA., to Frank Thomas Shaw and Ruth May Robey Shaw. He served in the US Marines and was retired from WalMart where he was a truck driver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Ann Shaw, who died in 2014.  Surviving are his sons, Duane Shaw of Sanford, NC, Randall Shaw of Puerto Rico, Tracy Shaw and Steven Shaw of Lexington; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Pauline Ostmann, Faye Farmer both of Rustburg, VA, Beatrice Howard of Richmond, VA.
