Edwin Franklin Yarbrough

Edwin Franklin Yarbrough, 89, of Lexington passed away Sunday July 3, 2022 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 7, 2022 at Tyro United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Randy Foster officiating services. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery with Masonic Burial Rites.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 at the church.

Mr. Yarbrough was born September 17, 1932 in Davidson County to Elmer Franklin Yarbrough and Virginia Dare Nance Yarbrough. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lona Smith Yarbrough and two sisters, Nancy Lyon and Mary Virginia Yarbrough.

Surviving is his son, Tim Yarbrough of Lexington; his daughter, Becky Allred (Steve) of Linwood; 2 grandchildren, Brittany Rummage (Matthew) and Hannah Carlton (Joel); and 5 great-grandchild, Canaan Appling, McKenna Carlton, Charlotte Rummage, Bristol Rummage, and Ember Rummage.
