Elaine Stutts

Kathryn Elaine Miller Stutts, 86, of Cynthia Lane, died Friday, June 10, 2016, at Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Midway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Blair and Dr. Jim Martin officiating. There will be a visitation Sunday at the home, 274 Cynthia Lane from 4 to 6 p.m. and again on Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Stutts was born September 15, 1929, in Washington County, TN., to Loni Miller and Maude Falls Miller. She was retired from Davidson County Schools where she had served 28 years as secretary and book keeper. She attended Yadkin College Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Welcome. She was very involved for many years in the Welcome Lions Club. She had a special place in her heart for all of her Welcome Elementary School students. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Maston Stutts. Surviving are her sister-in law, Garlene Stutts; two nieces Ann Edwards and Kim Reagan; two nephews, Paul and Jacob: two grandnephews; special friend, Barbara Neil and husband Allen of Lexington; cousins, Jim Blair and wife Pat and Peggy Peters; and many friends.
