Elbert Allen Malpass

Elbert Allen Malpass 58 of Horseshoe Neck Road passed away Monday at his home. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday October 14, 2010 at Davidson Funeral home Chapel conducted by Rev. Calvin Malpass and burial to follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home. Mr. Malpass was born June 26, 1952 in Delco, NC to Adrian Elbert Malpass and Velma Gertrude Miller Malpass. He was formerly an electrician with B. E. & K Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, J. Cody Gathings. Surviving are his wife Jerri Ingle Malpass of the home. His sons, Johnny Allen Malpass and wife Michelle of Florida, Roger Dale Gathings Jr. and wife Tia of Southmont and Matthew Gathings and wife Leigh of Virginia. His daughters, Nicole Ellen and husband David of Shallotte, Dusti Ingle and husband Chris of Lexington and A.J. Ingle and husband Steven of Lexington. One brother, Lloyd Earl Malpass of Delco, NC and sisters, Jean Perrell of Lexington, Dee Dee Robbins of Delco and Darlene Long and husband Tinker of Delco.
