Eldora Louya House

Rose Eldora House, 92, of Capistrano Shores Blvd., passed away Sunday March 1, 2026, at Atrium Baptist Lexington Medical Center in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 1:00pm, Saturday March 7, 2026, at Greater Vision Free Will Baptist Church, Inc. with Rev. Keith McGee and Rev. Doug McGee officiating services. Burial will follow at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm Saturday March 7, 2026, at Great Vision Free Will Baptist Church, Inc.

Mrs. House was born September 16, 1933, in Davidson County to Rosewell Mosell Louya and Elsie Leo Shaw Louya. Eldora loved her church and her church family. She spent many hours volunteering at Joshua Youth Camp. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Freddie “Fred” Wilburn House; her son Dean House; her daughter Cynthia House; three brothers, Johnny Louya, Forest Louya and Charlie Louya and a sister Doris Fortner.

Surviving is her son, Freddie House of Lexington; daughters Carolyn Kirkus (Danny) of Lexington, Debbie Lambeth of Lexington and Amanda Workman; one brother, Foyell Louya; and two sisters, Retta Mae Kepley and Effie William and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
