Eleanor Ruth Kulp Papale

Eleanor Ruth (Kulp) Papale, 98, passed away peacefully, on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Piedmont Crossing Nursing Home, in Thomasville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Jacob and Ella Boyle Kulp, loving husband Jesse John Papale, and son Jesse John Papale Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are Mary Louise Hewett of Norcross, GA, William George Papale (Betsy) of Hilton Head, SC and Robert Harry Papale (Savannah) of Winston Salem, NC; 15 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

She loved her chocolate Poodle, named Mimi, and during her retirement years in both Collingdale, PA and Murrells Inlet, SC she enjoyed playing Golf, Crewel/Embroidering, and Crocheting/Knitting. She was quite adept at creating wonderful authentic Italian meals learned from our fathers family. She will be missed sorely by all, as she truly loved family. Many thanks to the years of service to our Mother from the professionals, most notably Lisa, Mary and Jackie, at Piedmont Crossing HCU 200 Hall.

A "Celebration of Life Service" is planned for 3:00 pm, Friday, July 12, 2019 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, 858 Hickory Tree Road, Winston Salem, NC 27127 with the Reverend Dr. Hunter Duncan presiding.

Please make any memorials in memory of our Mother to Piedmont Crossing, 100 Hedrick Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360-6009, in lieu of flowers, as the professionals there gave many years of service to her in their Health Care Unit, 200 Hall.
