Elizabeth Jenkins Crotts

Elizabeth Jenkins Crotts, age 84 of Holly Grove Road, Lexington passed away Friday morning at her home.  A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday (Aug. 17, 2009) at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Joe D. Coltrane officiating.   Elizabeth was born in Guilford County, December 21, 1924 to Robert Calvin Jenkins and Ursula Garrison Jenkins. She was a former member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ and a retired employee of Frank IX.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilmer Crotts, November 18, 1990, a son Tim Crotts in 2003, one sister Lena Jenkins and two brothers, Sam and Bob Jenkins.   Surviving are; three daughters, Carolyn Darnell and husband Jerry, Cynthia Beck and husband Dennis all of Lexington and Margaret Crisp and husband Terry of Fancy Gap, VA; one son, Ronald Crotts of the home; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.   There will be no formal visitation.
