Elizabeth Kaye Myers

Elizabeth Kaye Myers age 78 of Lexington passed into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, April, 17, 2021 at Alston Brook Nursing Home in Lexington after declining health. She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday April 20, 2021 at Forest Hill Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Frankie Matthews officiating. Visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Monday, April 19, 2021, with the family not present.

Miss Myers was born on August 3, 1942 in Davidson County to John Frank Myers and Elizabeth Leonard Myers.   She worked as the dietician for Sheets Memorial Christian School in Lexington for 31 years. She was a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church where she served as a preschool Sunday school teacher and director. She was a loving caregiver to her handicapped brother, Kevin, as long as her health allowed, at which time God sent a precious caregiver, Amy Begley, who has taken him into her home. Miss Myers was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Myers McCullough.

Surviving are her sister, Carole Sue Shoaf (Charles); brothers, Jay Frank Myers (Patricia) and Kevin Dale Myers, a brother-in-law, Jerry McCullough, all of Lexington; six nieces and nephews and their families.
