Elizabeth Jean "Nanny" Phillips Conrad

Elizabeth Jean “Nanny” Phillips Conrad, 80, of Hoover Road, died Wednesday, January 06, 2010, at her home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2010, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Derek Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Conrad was born June 5, 1929, in Davidson County to William Baxter Phillips and Lou Robertha Koontz Phillips. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Howard Phillips, Ulysess Phillips, Raymond Phillips, Oliver Phillips, Wilbur Phillips; and one sister, Vivian Lansdell. Surviving are her husband, Fred Conrad of the home; daughters, Dawn Bell and husband, Gary, Tamara Stutts and husband, Bryan, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Justin Stutts and Jennifer Link and husband, Kyle; and a sister, Elsie Link of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at the funeral home and other times at the home.
