Elizabeth Jane Skabo

Elizabeth Jane Beck Skabo passed away on Friday April 28, 2023 peacefully at the age of 80.
She was born in Lexington, NC on October 29, 1942 to Carlie F. Beck and Mary B. Beck.

Jane graduated from Central Davidson Sr. High School in 1961 and Draughon’s Business College in
Winston-Salem. She worked for Davis Chevrolet, Adler Fabrics and Coble Dairy as a Secretary and was a member ofMemorial Evangelical and Reformed Church. Jane is preceded in death by her father, Carlie F. Beck and            mother, Mary B. Beck.

Surviving are her husband, Mike Skabo, of the home. Daughter, Melinda Skabo Hanff and spouse Sammy
of Scotland Neck, NC. Her son, Jeffrey M. Skabo and partner, Eric Rosengaft, of Raleigh, NC. A brother,
Richard F. Beck and wife Lynda, of Richmond, VA. Her sister-in-law, Tonya(Tiny) Kinney of Chesapeake,
VA. Three grandchildren, Beth Hanff of Wilmington, NC, Meg Hanff of Boone, NC and Alex Hanff of Greenville, NC.2 Nieces and 3 Nephews and great nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank all of her friendsBand family for their support. A special thank you to Libby and Glen O’Shea and Stevie Hedrick for all of their help and support over the last month.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM in Memorial Evangelical Reformed Church with Rev. Zach Hall officiating on Thursday, May 4, 2023. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00AM at the church.
