Mrs. Elizabeth Byerly Taylor, 83, of Numa Byerly Road, died Saturday, May 5, at the Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Holly Hill Cemetery in Thomasville. Mrs. Taylor was born November 20, 1928 in Davidson County to Numa Elwood Byerly and Vertie Edith Hedrick Byerly. She retired from PPG and was a member of New Friendship United Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, J.C. Taylor of the home; her daughter, Vee “Susie” Love and husband, Gary, of Reeds; her sons, James Eric Taylor and wife, Linda K., and Randall Byerly Taylor and wife, Teri, both of Lexington; her grandchildren, Michelle Love, Adrian Rose and husband, Travis, Jeremy Taylor and wife, Kim, Scott Taylor, Jennifer Garrison and husband, Shannon, Derek Taylor and wife, Summer; and her great grandchildren, Hayley Story, Tyler Story, Carson Rose, Corbin Rose, Leah Taylor, Brandi Rackley, Paris Garrison, Aubrey Garrison, Meredith Garrison, Mason Taylor, Gavin Taylor, and Cash Taylor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292 or to New Friendship United Church of Christ, 307 Turner Road, Lexington NC 27292.
