Elizabeth Jane Willis

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Apgar Burd Willis, 63, of Joan Drive, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Lexington Medical Center after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, June 4 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Sandy Young. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Willis was born October 7, 1948 in Hunterdon, NJ to Clarence and Mary Apgar Burd. She retired from Lexington Home Brands and was of the Methodist faith. Her son, William “Bill” Hildebrand, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, George Henry Willis of the home; her daughter, Marge Hildebrand of New Jersey; her brothers, Clarence Burd, Jr. and wife, Gloria, and John Burd and wife, Karen, both of Pennsylvania; her sister, Rose Hoover of New Jersey; and her grandchildren, William “Baby Bill” Hildebrand and Kevin Hildebrand, both of New Jersey.
