Ella Frances Bostic, 78, of Brian Center Drive, died Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Wake Forest Baptist Health - Lexington Medical Center following a sudden illness.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, February 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home of her son, Jimmy Forrest on Sandy Creek Lane.
Mrs. Bostic was born December 21, 1936, in Davie County, to Clarence Roosevelt Smith and Della Cope Smith. She was a clerk for Roses and was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed the beach. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Don Bostic; her first husband, Franklin Mock Forest; and brothers, Frank Smith, Grady Smith, and Melvin Smith.
Surviving are her sons, Dean Forrest, Jimmy Forrest and wife Effie, Nicky Forrest and wife Lisa, and Kevin Bostic, all of Lexington; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Monroe Smith, Richard Smith, both of Lexington, Carl Smith, Don Smith, Sherrill Smith, all of Advance, Manard Smith of Winston-Salem, and Marvin Smith of Welcome; and a sister, Ionia Dorsey of Lexington.
