Ellen Barnes

Ellen Lou White Barnes, 71, of Lexington passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Abbotts Creek Nursing Home.

No formal services will be held.

Mrs. Barnes was born in Farmington, ME on December 25, 1948 to Pearly Voter White and Beatrice Craven White. She was a retired switchboard operator, having worked for Lexington Memorial Hospital and was a loving mother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Michael Dexter of KY, Dianna Dexter (Tim Triplett) of Charleston, SC, Peggy Stanton (Jeremy) of Winston-Salem, Shelby Dyer (Mark) of Locust, Valerie Bowen (Dean) of Thomasville and Julie Bizzell (Cliff) of Charlotte; a brother, Collin White (Babe) of Pelzer, SC; and fifteen grandchildren.
