Ellis Glenn Murph

Ellis Glenn Murph, 86, of Bird Drive, died Monday, December 28, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Bishops Danny Gore and Jim Fish officiating. Burial will follow in Cotton Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Murph was born December 1, 1929, in Davidson County, to Arthur Ford Murph and Essie Ida Fritts Murph. He was a delivery person for Flavor Rich milk and a member of PRA Association. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Fritts, Hollis and Roy. Surviving are his wife, Edna Irene Murph; sons, Ellis Murph and wife Abby, and Eric Murph and wife Sherry, all of Lexington; daughters, Tracy Walser of Lexington, Glenna Jenkins and husband Nigel of Florida, and Tabatha Queen and husband Russell of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Essie Billings and Jessie Greene, both of Lexington.
