Elsie Yarbrough Miller

Elsie Yarbrough Miller, 96, of Highway 47 in Lexington, passed away Wednesday April 8, 2026, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday April 13, 2026, at Center Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Sandy Young and Rev. Brain Alexander officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday April 11, 2026 at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miller was born March 8, 1930, in Guilford County North Carolina to Roland Bryan Yarbrough and Bessie Jarrett Yarbrough. Elsie was a military wife and greatly supported her husband during his time serving our country. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy Ernest Miller and four brothers, Jack Yarbrough, Lee Yarbrough, Bill Yarbrough and Buddy Yarbrough.

Surviving are her two sons, Jeffrey Miller (Kathy) and Joel Miller, both of Lexington, sisters-in-law; Gail Yarbrough, and Judy Cooper.

The family would like to express a special thank you to nurse Becky and all the CNA’s at the home and Hinkle House for their loving care for Mrs. Miller.
