Elsie Amanda Sink Motsinger, 93, of Old Highway 52, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at her home.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastors John Woods and Michael Gates.
Mrs. Motsinger was born January 15, 1916, in Davidson County to David Lewis Sink and Mary Estelle Sink. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Motsinger; brothers, Hollis Sink, Bruce Sink, Jake Sink, Walter Sink, and Ross Sink; and sisters, Alice Disher and Kate Clodfelter.
Surviving are sons, Robert “Bobby” Motsinger and wife, Cornelia, of Midway; daughter, Nancy McAlpine and husband, Jim, of Midway; grandchildren, Hal McAlpine and wife, Tammy, Mike McAlpine and wife, Wendy, Steve Motsinger and wife, Jenny, and Tim Motsinger and wife, Mary; great-grandchildren, Christina Clark and husband, Brad, A.J. McAlpine, Madison McAlpine, Taylor Motsinger, Dustin Motsinger, and Josie Motsinger; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Long, Dorothine Oakley, Helen Shoaf, and Louise Sink; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the home 10785 Old Highway 52.
