Miss Emily Nicole Locklear, 11, of Morgan Lane, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Landmark Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Kenneth Marshburn officiating. Burial will follow at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Miss Locklear will remain at Davidson Funeral Home until 12:30 PM Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 2:30 PM Tuesday prior to the service and other times at the home.
Emily was born August 14, 1999, in Forsyth County to Linda Fink Stiltner and Christopher Stiltner, and her biological father, Bobby Locklear. She was a fifth grade student at Northwest Elementary School. She enjoyed riding her bike and loved animals.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Alisha Queen; grandparents, Debra Gathings of Linwood, Michael Dale and Debra Fink of Salisbury, Duke and Jeana Murphy Bush of Linwood, and Lacy and Eugenia Stiltner of Canada, KY, and Bobby and Louise Locklear of Lumberton; her aunts, Crystal Gathings and uncle Zack Younts, Dawn Marie Garcia and husband, Lazardo, Jennifer Lively, all of Linwood, and Crissie Locklear of Winston Salem; her uncles, Richard Brewer and wife, Christie of Tyro, Doodle Bug Gathings of Linwood, Matthew Stiltner of Okinawa, Japan, and Harry Dwayne Lively Jr.; great aunt, Diane Koontz of Lexington; great uncles, Bobby Lemons and Ronnie Lemmons, both of Linwood, and Alan Lemmons of Southmont; a special friends, Michael Chavis and Walker Welch, and a host of cousins and friends. Emily also cherished her special friends, Kirstyn, Cainaan, Scotty, Josh, Angie and family. She was expecting to have a baby brother, Christopher Edward Gabrile Dale Stiltner, later this year.
