Emma Combs Tysinger

Emma Combs Tysinger, 83, of Davidson County, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday evening, August 21, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.

A funeral service will be held the following morning, Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Leonard Road Baptist Church, with Pastor Tommy Hepler officiating.

Burial will conclude at Forest Hill Memorial Park after the service.

Emma was born on April 15, 1942, in Davidson County, to the late Conley Edgard Combs and Hattie Jane Holbrook Combs. She worked many years as a sewer for Lexington Home Brands and was an active member of Leonard Road Baptist Church.

Along with her parents and her siblings, she is preceded in death and reunited with the love of her life, Donald Edward Tysinger.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cindy Seawell (partner, Bill), of Pfafftown; son, Donald Ray Tysinger (Darla), of Lexington; nine grandchildren, Amanda (Brandon), Karen “Sissy”, Angelia, Audrey, Andrew (Cyndal), Mandy, Brian, Russell, and Jessica (Blake); and twelve great-grandchildren, and her best friend, Judy Combs.
