Eric Thomas Herring

Eric Thomas Herring, 23, of Shando Drive, Lexington died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 in a car accident. A funeral service was held Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Shando Drive or Reedy Fork Dr. Eric was born April 17, 1990 in Davidson County to Patrick Herring and Audrey Diane Tucker Herring. He graduated from West Davidson Senior High School and was a student at Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Mr. Herring was a Corporal in the US Marines having served in Afghanistan and in Haiti during the tsunami recovery. He was an employee of Atrium Windows; was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Disc Golf and Dart League. Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Thomas Herring, Sr. and grandmother, Ruby Tucker. Surviving are his Father and Mother; a son, Carson Haire of the home; two brothers, Michael Shaw (Rann), Logan Herring all of Lexington; three sisters, Heather Herring (Elvis Patterson), Kalen Herring all of Lexington, Brooke Bores (Johnathan) of Florida; grandparents, Doris Cox, Carl and Linda Tucker all of Lexington; Nieces and Nephews, Destiny Patterson, Branson Bores, Ayden McCrary, Layla Patterson, Mikayla Shaw, Katherine Shaw, Wesley Shaw and Allie Shaw.
