Eric Lance Howarth

Eric Lance Howarth, 51, formerly of North Charleston, South Carolina and who made his home in Clemmons, North Carolina passed away Friday December 24, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life Service will be taking place in Eric's childhood hometown of North Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Hillcrest Baptist Church located at 3595  Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, South Carolina 29418. There will be a time of visitation with family at 12 pm with the service at 1pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage you to keep Eric's generous spirit alive by making a donation to Hillcrest Baptist Church

There will be a an additional Celebration of Life held on January 29, 2022 at 1:00pm at Arcadia Community Center, 1281 Community Road, Lexington, NC.  We will be gathering to share some of our favorite memories, to laugh, to cry, and remember a wonderful person who is greatly missed.  Food will be served.  Eric loved to wear Hawaiian shirts , so if you could wear one in his honor that would be great.

Eric was born May 13, 1970 in Honolulu Hawaii to Gerald Howarth and Nancy Elaine Mills Howarth. Eric enjoyed scuba diving, camping, kayaking, traveling and geocaching. Eric was a 1989 graduate of R.B. Stall High School and Trident Technical College in North Charleston. He was employed as a Quality Assurance Supervisor by North State Aviation in Winston Salem.

Surviving are his parents, of Charleston South Carolina; his fiancé Lisa Gray of the home; his sisters Dorrice Cox (George) of Charleston South Carolina and Jerrilyn Ishee (Tom) stationed in Nebraska; nieces and nephews, Rachel Cox, Nathan Cox (Ashlea), Daniel Cox, Audrey Ishee and Alivia Ishee; and  his beloved extended family, Zachary Gray (Alisha), Joshua Gray (Jewel), Addisyn and Lille.
