Erica Lynn Trantham

Erica Lynn Trantham, 52 of Lexington passed away April 10, 2023, surrounded by her family at the home of her sister.

A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 am Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Maranatha Baptist Tabernacle Church on Jersey Church Rd., Lexington, with the Rev. Thomas Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, where the family will see friends following.

Erica was born September 24, 1970, in Davidson County, to Arthur Lee “Cotton” Trantham and Joretta “Jo” Lovell Trantham. Erica was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith. She never met a stranger and touched the hearts of everyone. She enjoyed riding with Craigbo on his UTV, playing her play station, and listening to her music, and was referred by many as a precious angel from God. Her passion was her family, and friends. Erica was a loving sister, aunt, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Trantham.

Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Tammie Wright and husband Craig, brothers, Kelly Trantham and Mike Trantham and wife Tonya, all of Lexington; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.
