Ernest Guy Ingle

Ernest Guy Ingle, 85, of Gray Mill Rd., Lexington passed away Tuesday November 10, 2015 at his home. A funeral service will be Sunday November 15th at 2:00 PM at Beck’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Angie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Mr. Ingle was born in Gaston County on February 19, 1930 to Cassie Ingle and Ocie Brown Ingle. He was retired from R. J. Reynolds, a member of Beck’s Lutheran Church and proudly served in country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rachel Vermell Ingle on November 4, 2012 and sister Jean Shoaf. Surviving are son, Guy Ingle (Phyllis) of Thomasville; daughters, Lori Graham (Bob); Carolyn Baldus (Joe) all of Lexington and Susan Sowers (Tommy) of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jennifer Whitfield, Kimberly Stanley, Elizabeth and Sydnie Giacomucci; seven great grandchildren and sister Mary Johnson and brother-in-law, Lonnie Shoaf and several nieces and nephews.
