Ernest Meuser, Jr.

Ernest August Meuser, Jr., 79, a resident of Lexington, formerly of Fairhaven Vermont, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his home. Ernest was born on October 15, 1942 in St. Charles, Louisiana to the late Ernest August and Marion Couch Meuser. He retired from Fairhaven Union High School where he taught for several years. Ernest was a strong man, who loved his family very much. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed collecting tractors and was a knife maker. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held by the family in Vermont at a later date.

Ernest is survived by his sons, Jason Meuser of Lexington, Eric Meuser (Shawnia) of Spring Hill, Florida; and Joshua Meuser (Cheri White) of Welcome; daughters, Niki Hansen (Bruce) of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Brett Myers of Brownsville, Vermont; a sister, Carol Meuser of Warwick, Rhode Island; grandchildren, Jake, Abby, Julia, Emily, Zachary, Caroline, and Oliver; and great-granddaughter, Madison.
