Ernestina Rodriguez Martinez

Ernestina Rodriguez Martinez, age 79, of Lexington passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Father Ambrose Akinwande officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mrs. Martinez was born in Hualahuices, Nuevo Leon on October 10, 1939 to Juan Rodriguez and Maria Domitila Martinez. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and her memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clemente Sauceda.

Surviving are her son, Samuel Sauceda (Elvira) of Lexington; her daughter, Maria Etelvina Gillen (Roy) of the home; seven grandchildren, Juan Sauceda (Veronica), Alonso Sauceda, Clemente Sauceda, Samuel Sauceda, Troy Gillen, Tony Gillen and Tyler Gillen; and five great-grandchildren, Tillman, Triton, Juan, Catherine and Angel.
