Ernestine Hall

Ernestine Hall, 92, a long time resident of Lexington passed away October 15, 2013, at Hospice Hock Family Pavilion in Durham. The family will receive visitors at Davidson Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, followed by a 2 pm graveside service at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Ernestine was born in High Point on February 6, 1921, to Elmer and Mittie Garner, one of three children. She was a PPG retiree and attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lexington. Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband George S. Hall. She is survived by her brother, Bill Garner and wife Eva; two children, Kathryn Griffin and husband Morris of Durham and Kenneth S. Hall of Lexington; three grandchildren, Deborah C. Anderson, W. Christopher Claypoole and Cameron A. Hall; and six great grandchildren, Jared Anderson, Vasili Claypoole, Chloe Claypoole, Brooklynn Claypoole, Genevive Claypoole and Allyssa Althous In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 North Roxboro Road, Durham, NC, 27704; or First Pentecostal Holiness Church 1448 East US Highway 64, Lexington, NC 27292.
